Who We Are
Zelifcam is a software development company based in San Antonio, Texas. Since 2020, we've delivered 100+ projects in healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, legal, and technology.
Our team is entirely US-based — 14 engineers. Every client works directly with senior developers and a dedicated project manager. You'll know everyone working on your project by name. We handle enterprise systems and complex integrations without the overhead of a big agency.
Most of our clients are businesses doing $5M-$50M in revenue. Some are replacing legacy ERP systems or outgrowing the no-code tools they used to launch. Others are cleaning up after a previous developer left mid-project. They come to us because they need a partner who understands both the technology and the business problem behind it.

How We Work
We use a delivery credit model instead of hourly billing. Every task gets sized by complexity before work starts. The quoted price is what you pay — if we underestimate, we absorb the difference. You get a monthly delivery summary showing every task completed and every credit used.
Your code belongs to you from day one. Repositories, documentation, deployment configs — it's all yours. If you want to bring development in-house or switch vendors, you take everything with you. No transition fees. No lock-in.
We believe these things should be standard. Most of the industry disagrees. That's why we put them in writing.

Brandon Howard, Founder & President
Brandon has been building software for over 20 years, with a background in Linux and systems engineering that goes back to the late 1990s. He started Zelifcam because he saw too many businesses stuck with generic tools that didn't fit how they actually operated, and he wanted to build software that solves real problems. At the core, he's a builder who cares about doing things the right way and being a reliable long-term partner for the people Zelifcam works with.
The Zelifcam Story
In the mid-90s, an AOL chat room called "Macfilez" became a hub for tech enthusiasts sharing software. When AOL shut it down, the community regrouped. Someone reversed the letters. Zelifcam was born.
That origin story says a lot about who we are. We've been figuring out technology problems since before it was a career path. The curiosity that drove a group of teenagers to build communities online is the same curiosity that drives our engineers to dig into a client's legacy codebase at 2am because something isn't adding up.
We're not the biggest firm. We're not trying to be. We're the team that picks up the phone, reads the error logs, and gives you a straight answer about what's going on.
