Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic development team at Zelifcam. We believe in using the right tools for each project, which means you'll work across a diverse portfolio of applications with varying technology stacks. From modern JavaScript frameworks to mobile apps using Flutter, from Grails-based enterprise systems to Laravel APIs, you'll have the opportunity to expand your skills while delivering solutions that best fit each project's unique requirements. As part of our team, you'll contribute to our comprehensive service offerings including custom software development, legacy software support, quality assurance, and project management for clients across multiple industries.

Our comprehensive services include software development for desktop, web, and mobile platforms, quality assurance with both automated and manual testing, and project management using agile methodologies. You'll work on projects for clients in real estate, manufacturing, medical, legal, and IT sectors, ensuring that every solution is tailored to meet unique business needs and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop full-stack web applications using React/Next.js frontends and Grails, Laravel, or Node.js backends
- Build cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart
- Implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL services
- Integrate third-party services including payment processors (Stripe), communication APIs (Twilio), and cloud services
- Develop real-time features using WebSockets
- Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive test coverage
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage multi-container environments
- Collaborate on database design and optimization (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Firebase)
- Adapt to different technology stacks based on project requirements
- Maintain and enhance existing applications across various frameworks and languages
- Support legacy software systems while implementing modern solutions
- Leverage AI tools effectively to accelerate development while maintaining code quality and understanding
- Participate in agile development processes and maintain clear stakeholder communication
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Testing frameworks: Cypress, Jest, PHPUnit, or Spock
- CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions)
- Web scraping and automation tools (Selenium, BeautifulSoup, Scrapy)
- Real-time application development with WebSockets
- Payment gateway integration experience
- Experience maintaining legacy codebases while implementing modern solutions
- Experience with quality assurance processes including automated and manual testing
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of full-stack development experience
- Frontend: Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
- Backend: Experience with at least one of: Laravel (PHP), Grails (Groovy/Java), or Node.js/Express
- Mobile: Flutter and Dart development experience
- Databases: Proficiency with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases (Firebase Firestore)
- Version Control: Git and collaborative development workflows
- DevOps: Docker containerization and basic AWS services knowledge
- AI Integration: Demonstrated ability to effectively use AI assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) as development tools, not crutches
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Adaptability: Comfort working with multiple programming languages and frameworks
- Learning Mindset: Enthusiasm for learning new technologies as project needs evolve
- Excellent communication skills for seamless collaboration with US-based clients and team members
